#Cats #Gatos #CatsOfMastodon

How about some #Spanish vocabulary for #Caturday?

The expression “patas arriba” (paws upward) is used for “upside down.” Here, Ronronia illustrates the concept:

An orange and white cat is lolling about on bare soil in the garden. The cat is on its back, sunning its very furry belly. All four feet are up in the air.

“Patas arriba” also covers ideas such as “topsy-turvy,” “disorganized,” “inside out,” and “a mess.”

The image of a messy, disorganized house being “patas arriba” makes me chuckle as I picture little house feet sticking up in the air.
