Afternoon, George. I agree that vaccines are lifesavers. Mom had Polio & was pregnant with me. The docs told her I would likely not make it, but here I am 75 yrs later; rest assured Mom made damned sure my sister & I had all our vaccines. Happy Sunday.

@georgetakei I don't know why these parents are prosecuted. Oregon successfully prosecutes Follower of Christ Church (faith healing cult) members whose children die from treatable diseases. Why can't we prosecute parents whose children die of other easily preventable medical causes?

@georgetakei Sadly, they aren't going to learn anything from that. Worst case, they'll blame whatever the doctors did to try and save the kid to be the actual cause of death.. or they'll cry "victim blaming!" and reject any criticism against their actions.
