Most worrying about the bonus is that it's payable
after FIVE years service
This gives ICEs an incentive to support Trump in the (inevitable?) event that he tries to take a third term (or abolish elections) - to protect their bonus.

If the bonuses are paid for deportation, they will actively block any checks for valid visas, green cards, or even citizenship until after deportation. They might find something that forces them to release their hostages, and denies them that bonus money!
If the bonuses are paid for arrest, expect Alex Pretti's murderers to (anonymously) claim their bonuses for "arresting" him.

Do they get a bonus if they found that the owner of failed casinos and/ or hotels employed illegal immigrants to clean those properties and still bankrupted them anyway
Federal govt workers are not often paid large bonuses. Part of the now defunct arrangement was that govt pay was adequate, but retirement benefits were above average.
One purpose of this arrangement was to state a priority. It was to discourage people from working in govt for the money. It was a public service, with public, not personal priorities. Millions of people happily accepted that deal.
Paying ICE goons big bonuses is paying for Trump's private army.
